I came here about a year ago and I was so amazed at the fact they had a robot serve the drinks and food. So I thought they were going to have it still but unfortunately they didn't. That was a little disappointing. They did upgrade on the decor and it looked absolutely amazing. The service was fast and good. The drinks were very very good as well.

My first time trying Jin Teahouse in West Covina. It's on Nogales and La Puente Ave. (inside the SF supermarket plaza) I was going to get something to go so I thought it was a small place without dine-in but actually, there's a big place on the other side for dine-in. Their decorations and pink color attracted me. I ordered their lunch specials and a mango-flavored tea drink. Their lunch specials are $9.90 and you only pay an extra $3 if you want to add a flavored tea drink. The indoor dine-in area was big and full of decorations and stuff inside. Some sections were too much but I couldn't stop taking pictures. Speaking of the food, their popcorn chicken with rice tasted mediocre. Their rice could be softer. The popcorn chicken was in small pieces and they were not crunchy enough. I like the mango-flavored tea and the bottle is cute. I also like their to-go bag, it's very eye-catching and the packaging is so cute. Ambiance: cute decor and quiet (4 out of 5 stars) Food: mediocre (3 out of 5 stars) Price: reasonable price (4 out of 5 stars)

Look at this decor! It's so cute! A great place to study since it's open late and it's sooo quiet. I want to come back for the tea set but everything on the menu looked aesthetic. Plus the portions were big! Service was fast and nice or if you're an introvert you order through a QR code and they bring it to you.

This restaurant is extremely unique; it has a front area for to-go orders and a separate dine-in area. The dine-in area was decorated beautifully and would be a perfect location to take photos. They were selling a lot of cute merchandise in the store such as plushies and figures. I even saw them selling a reusable cup that allows you to get several refills of jasmine green tea throughout the year, which was very environmentally conscious of them. Although the prices are a bit high, they have large food portions. The drinks are served in holographic cups, and I can easily say it was the prettiest boba drink I've ever had. The service was also fairly quick even if there was only one person working at the time. I ordered an entrée, a drink, and a dessert to-go, and everything was ready within a few minutes. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here. The food was a bit spicy, but it was very flavorful and tasted great. The fruit tea was just the right sweetness level, and didn't have too much ice in it. I would definitely come again to try their dine-in service!

Jin Tea House offers a delightful afternoon tea experience but it's not the same experience ordering from a set menu. This is more a full menu with full entrees, tea, boba, and desserts to choose from. From the charming ambiance to the exquisite selection of teas and delectable treats, every aspect was delightful. Great for taking pics and posting on Instagram. The lady greeted and asked if we were dining in or taking to go? There's two entrance for eating in or for take out orders. I went through the take out, since I ordered from an app called "TooGoodToGo" where the app lets you rescue unsold food at your favorite spots. First I ordered on the kiosk. Got brown sugar milk tea which end up costing me $7 and then the packaging I got from there was small box of fries, a cheesecake which was good, tea, and spicy chicken curry, I believe? It was super spicy but still good! This whole deal cost me $10.

First time here at Jin Tea House and it is super cute here. The inside of this place looks kind of like an English cottage house or maybe where Alice and Wonderland would come and have a tea party. I think this place would be great for kids' and families birthdays. Their menu is extensive with plenty of choices on drinks from hot teas to cold teas and also a food selection that also has pasta! I just wanted to grab a iced tea so I ordered a rose grapefruit tea with less ice and less sugar. I also ordered popcorn chicken in regular so it wasn't spicy. What I ordered was tasty and great the flavor of the tea was enjoyable to me and the chicken was made to order so it was super hot. Maybe wait a few minutes before you put it in your mouth. Next time I want to come back and for sure have a meal here in the cute dining hall.
